I tried NST last year, and in my opinion they are not so good.

I dealt with NST for about 2 years and had great success with them - until this past summer. This past summer - parts stopped & quality of products dropped tremendously!

I have a NST 250cc Scooter that I sold this past summer and have over 100 hours of WARRANTY labor in. We have since purchased the scooter back from the customer. We have replaced just about EVERYTHING on this scooter except the body & frame. If NST was a :stand-up" company - they would have purchased this scooter back from me. I had to purchase 75% of the parts I replaced on this scooter, which should have been covered under warranty and have over 100 hours in labor in it - thus..... I have more in parts & labor than what I paid for this POS!!!!

I used to "praise" NST - I don't know what happened with the company - but I hope they can get back to where they USED to be.....

Just curious . . what are the first 3 characters of the VIN (for a WMI search).

All the crap I have sitting here from NST (2 dirtbikes) and the 250 scooter I sold were all different prefixes and none of them show up in that database except the pocketbikes which were L4P.

And yes Faith the scooter was LJ4 & I had a problem registering it with Illinois (NST title no match the bike (1 digit off.)

MSO related thread. NST should hang their heads in shame . . extremely poor business model. Hopefully, the free market will "weed out" the incompetent slackers.
